Updates and Protocols:

Our number one priority is to keep our customers, community and workers safe. We are closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) protocols through the CDC and the County Health Departments. 

Our primary goal is to continue to provide groceries, nutritional supplements and natural remedies to our customers in the midst of the current challenges to our health, safety and well-being. 

 

Community Market continues to adjust and adapt to conditions and information that changes daily as we strive to serve our community and maintain a safe environment for everyone. Here are a few updates:

  • Our deli is making fresh grab & go options daily. We have launched our custom and signature sandwich program with a delicious array of options (check out the deli pages here for our updated menus) and our popular breakfast burritos are back, including vegan and  vegetarian versions.

  • ​Our full espresso bar has re-opened for orders to go! We proudly feature coffee from Black Oak Coffee Roasters, Guayaki yerba mate and Healthy High

  • We are no longer limiting the number of shoppers inside our markets at any given time.

  • We respectfully request that all customers wear face protection. Our workers are wearing face protection for your safety and theirs

  • We ask that all customers observe social distancing, with a minimum of 6' between themselves and others inside the market and while waiting at the entrance 

  • Our hours for walk-in service are now  8am - 8pm Daily at both Community Market locations

  • Customers are welcome to bring their re-usable shopping bags with a few protocols: customers must bag their own groceries and the bags must remain in the shopping cart. Bags may not come into contact with our conveyor belts or counters at checkout. 

  • We have re-opened our water filling stations. We ask that folks observe safe distancing practices at the water stations 

  • Self-service from open bulk bins is temporarily suspended. We will be pre-bagging many of our best-selling bulk items. Some items will be temporarily unavailable

  •  We are temporarily suspending access to our bulk tinctures, herbs and bodycare. Self-service is not available and the priority for our wellness department staff is to be available for other important customer assistance, such as providing guidance with selection and help locating products

We continue to offer a wonderful array of fresh, 100% organic produce and to provide you and your loved ones with the ingredients for nourishing meals to support your health and well-being in these stressful times. 

 

We are grateful and appreciative of our customers and our community during this challenging time. Our workers are dedicated to providing you with nutritious food, supplements and organic produce and we are doing our best to be kind, flexible and attentive to your needs while keeping everyone safe.

Additional Sanitation and Safety Protocols:

We are dedicated to keeping our facility clean and sanitized. We have increased the frequency of all sanitation procedures, particularly in our food handling departments. 

  • We have mandated that our workers stay home if they are experiencing ANY symptoms,

  • We have mandated that workers thoroughly wash hands every 30 minutes. 

  • All of our kitchen and deli personnel have current food handlers’ training and certification

  • Our cashiers and raw food handlers are wearing gloves at all times. Gloves will be changed at least hourly, more frequently during food prep

  • All work surfaces and tools will be continually sanitized
