PTO Availability & Requests
How PTO Works
Paid Time Off (PTO) is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is capped each pay period. Because of that cap, PTO isn’t always guaranteed, especially for last-minute requests.
To help make this more transparent, we’ve added a PTO availability tracker below so you can see how many PTO hours are still available for a given pay period before submitting a request.
How to request PTO
All PTO requests must be submitted through WebTime.
Time-off requests and PTO requests are not the same thing:
-
Time off still needs to be requested directly with your manager.
-
PTO pay must be requested separately through WebTime in order to be applied to your paycheck.
If you’ve already been approved for time off by your manager but don’t submit a PTO request in WebTime, PTO will not be applied.
A few things to keep in mind
How PTO Works
The tracker below updates in real time and shows how many PTO hours remain for each pay period.
If hours are still available, it may be possible to use PTO. If the cap has already been reached, additional PTO requests for that pay period will be denied.
This is why requesting PTO as far in advance as possible is always encouraged.
PTO Tracker
-
PTO is first come, first served and subject to pay-period caps
-
The tracker helps show what’s possible, but approval is not automatic
-
Submitting PTO early gives you the best chance of getting it
-
PTO requests without available hours will be denied
