Partnerships

Community market partners with local organizations whose work aligns with our mission and values. These partnerships reflect ongoing relationships centered on shared goals, collaboration, and care for our community.

We are proud to support and work alongside the organizations listed below. As our work evolves, this page will grow to reflect additional partnerships that strengthen our community.

Goatlandia

Goatlandia Farm Animal Sanctuary rescues and cares for farm animals who have experienced abuse, neglect, abandonment, or exploitation while creating opportunities for people to connect more deeply with animals, food systems, and compassion in action. Through sanctuary, education, youth programs, volunteer opportunities, and community events, Goatlandia helps build a more humane and connected community here in Sonoma County. They are also expanding their impact through The Thrifty Goat, a resale shop supporting the sanctuary’s ongoing work and mission.

Community Market partners with Goatlandia because we believe care for animals, people, health, and the earth are all connected. We are proud to support an organization creating space for compassion, education, and meaningful community connection in West County.

Food For Thought

Food For Thought began in Sonoma County during the height of the AIDS epidemic, when neighbors stepped into care for one another through food. What started as a response to deep loss and urgency has grown into an organization rooted in dignity, compassion, and the belief that food can be a powerful part of healing.

Today, Food For Thought provides medically tailored groceries and meals to peole living with serious medical conditions across our community. Their work is guided by the idea that food is medicine, and that everone deserves to be met with care, respect, and choice during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Community Market partners with Food For Thought because this work reflects the kind of community we believe in. We share a commitment to showing up for our neighbors with compassion, meeting real needs, and using food as a way to care for one another.
